Printers Row Lit Fest is set for September 6 & 7, 2025

Printers Row Lit Fest

Anyone familiar with Chicago knows about the Printers Row Lit Fest, an annual book fair and literary festival held each September. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the festival, and we are proud to honor its rich legacy. In 2019, the book fair returned to its founder, the Near South Planning Board (NSPB), and with it, the cherished tradition of hosting outdoor stages and tents resumed.  Over the decades, the event has grown into the largest book festival in the Midwest, collecting some remarkable statistics; over 20 million visitors have attended the event, hundreds of authors have spoken, and placing millions of books into the hands of eager readers.  As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we look forward to an exciting, vibrant and renewed bibliographic celebration with you in 2025!

We urge you to support our independent bookstores throughout the year, click here.
