Both individuals and organizations can support our general operations, literacy programs, and events. Here’s how:

General Operations

Contributions from both individuals and organizations support our efforts to promote the area, monitor and direct growth, interface with the city and the media on behalf of businesses and residents, and work on the ongoing development and growth of the Near South Side.

We are grateful to our current major supporters who provide general funding to enable us to do the work we do.

Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss how you can support our general operations.

Literacy Programs

Authors in the Schools

Financial support for our Literacy ProgramsPrinters Row Lit Fest, Harold Washington Literary Award, and Authors in the Schools – helps underwrite the costs of creating and administering the programs. Volunteers enhance our ability to manage them efficiently and effectively.

We are grateful to our current literacy program sponsors.

If you’d like to help as well, please contact us to discuss how you can provide financial support and/or volunteer.

Events and Activities

NSPB hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year, including luncheons, sporting events, parties, fitness activities, community markets and more! Some of these events are free, and all are open to both members and non-members. Support for these events includes sponsorship, co-hosting, in-kind donations, and volunteering.

We are grateful to our current event supporters, without whom our efforts would not be nearly as successful.

Please get in touch if you’d like to become an event or activity sponsorprovide other support, and/or volunteer.
